Advertise Your Charger
The next crucial step is to ensure the public knows about your new charger. There are several free and effective ways to accomplish this. For each method, it is important to inform potential customers of several items regarding the charger including location, output capability (ie: 9.6kW), number of ports (connectors), connector type (ie: J-1772), pricing, hours of service, support information, membership options, nearby amenities, and any other information you think may be helpful. The AmpedUp! CSO app will automatically list your charger within its charging station network, but other recommended mechanisms for advertising include: an AmpedUp! Networks landing page, your website, Google Maps, the PlugShare app, and the AFDC website. Each advertising mechanism is described below.
AmpedUp! Landing Page

As a special AmpedUp! Networks service, we can provide a landing page that details all of the pertinent information regarding your chargers. This landing page will be submitted to the Google and Bing search engines so it will be displayed in a “charging stations near me” search result. Some examples of landing pages can be found here and here. You can request a new landing page for your charger by visiting the AmpedUp! Networks CSO Support page found here. Fill out the form and choose the “Landing page request” Inquiry type.
